Responsibilities

• Welding steel parts together using GMAW/FCAW

• Performs related tasks such as thermal cutting and grinding.

• Fitting light structural and sheet metal complex components

• Qualifications

• Proficient at welding as follows: executing welds in all positions, utilizing GMAW on sheet metal, plates, and various structural shapes

• Must pass the precertification company welding test.

• Must be proficient at reading a tape measure and decimal to fraction conversions

• Must be proficient at multi-component fitting
